Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race Day 2

A better day

A few of the runners suffered a little more from the hot humid weather of day 1. However they were all at the starting line on day 2. It was a much better day with cooler temp’s and a nice breeze. Those that had some problems gradually began to recover and those that were in good shape forged on. Even the runners who were having a hard time still had a smile for me when I stopped by. Everyone knows that it takes a few days to get used to the course and the weather, but that it will come. One thing that is learned in this race is that it is long and there is plenty of time for change.

If you want to see some really nice photo’s of the race go to the race site,by clicking on the link to the right of this page that says, Sri Chinmoy races and then on recent blog posts in the menu at the top of the page. You also see the daily totals and get completely up to date.
