Self-Transcendence 10 & 6 Day Races 2015 – Day 9 & 5

Latest results for the Self-Transcendence 10 & 6 Day Races 2015 have been posted and just when things were starting to look crystalized in the 10 day race (from afar at least), Aidas Ardzijauskas has blown everyone off the park with 78 miles on day 9 – three 70+ days in a row has seen him fly into the overall lead. Shamita has edged closer to Sarah and is now within striking distance as we enter the final day. Harita has a cushion but Manoshri Sykorova moved into 4th place after running 61 miles yesterday leaving the final results unpredictable.

In the 6 day race Dipali Cunningham has a firm grip on first place while second place Nataliya Hlushchuk has slightly increased her lead over Vera Kalishmanova who is still only 8 miles behind.

John Geesler ran 69 miles  to leave the possibility of a pb on the horizon and rarer  than the rarest, a possible US one-two as Mark McCaslin takes advantage of Rimas Jakelaitis injury problems to create a small cushion. Can Rimas recover to re-take second place I wonder.
