Self-Transcendence 10 & 6 Day Races 2015 – Day 7 sees Sarah Barnett extending her overall lead in the 10 day and still in a good space as can be seen in Utpal Marshalls short interview.

Shamita and Pati are holding their places while in the mens 10 day, Aidas Ardzijauskas, after having top mileage for two days in a row, has moved into second place ahead of Ushika Muckenhumer.

Dipali Cunningham is having an excellent race so far averaging some 83 miles a day and having an overall lead of 13 miles. Second placed Nataliya Hlushchuk and third placedĀ  Vera Kalishmanova are still running well.

In the men’s 6 Day, John Geesler leads Rimas Jakelaitis with a comfortable cushion while American Mark McCaslin has moved into third place just two miles ahead of Michael Korol with 188 miles.

With temperatures set to rise over the next few days and with no more rain currently forecast, we wish the runners the best in making the most of the good conditions for the remaining days.
