The Lingfield Park Ultrafest was a 6 day event scheduled to take place in 2011 in the grounds of Lingfield Park. Organised by Pam Storey and Alan Young, this was the first 6 day race planned for the UK for 25 years and included a marathon each day a 24 hour and a 48 hour event. However difficulty in establishing a date for the event meant abandoning the idea. In 2012 a new venue materialised with the help of Paul Fernandez a teacher at Radley College in Oxford and plans were put into place to hold a new British Ultra Fest on the Radley track in August 2013
