Grand Raid de la Réunion

Ultrarunning weekend in October on Reunion Island. Competitors climb 5 peaks at about 2000m, skirt the volcano, run through unique and varied terrain.

About 70% make it to the finish.

The winner completes the race in about 22 hours while the last finisher is allowed 64! Grand Raid de la Réunion features three events:

  • Le Grand Raid (la Diagonale des Fous)162km, 9643m+
  • Trail de Bourbon 93km, 4920m+
  • The Mascareignes, 61km, 3036m+
