The race is organised by Gérard Cain and was founded in May 2006. In 2007 a 48 hour was added and in 2009 a 24 hour was included. In 2011 walking categories were added with a 72 hour race and 6 day treadmill event. 2012 was the last edition of the race held in Antibes.
