The Fellsman is a tough ultramarathon, a 60 mile high level traverse over very hard rugged moorland. The event climbs over 11,000 feet in its path from Ingleton to Threshfield in the Yorkshire Dales.
Founded
The Fellsman was founded in 1962 and has run every year apart from 1967 and 2001 when the race wasn't held due to Foot and Mouth disease.
