A low key event but with good support since it shares 9 checkpoints with 40 mile walkers. Has been used several times as a training run for those preparing for the Comrades.

The Ridgeway a 40 mile point-to-point Trail Run
Location
- From: Overton Hill located on A4 between Marlborough and Amesbury, Wilts.
- To: Streatley Youth Hostel, Berks.
Terrain
- 90% on grassy and sometimes rutted, stony and muddy Ridgeway National Trail. Modest hills, and good views.
