Perhaps the leading Irish multiday runner at the moment, Tony Mangan has set several records over the last few years - most recently setting a new 48 hour treadmill record in Ireland.

- 48 hour indoor world record 426.178 km (264.81 miles) March 2007, Brno
- 48hr Treadmill World Record August 22nd to 24th 2008 405.22km the Longford Marathon in Ireland.
