The Self-Transcendence 24 Hour Race takes place at the Terry Fox Track Ottawa, Ontario in September. Start Time: is usually 8:00 AM.
Race Details
- Location: Terry Fox Park, on the side of the Rideau river. Free parking
- Track: 400m tartan surface
- Ontario Ultra Series: official event for this series
- Weather: Typically warm days and cool nights; great for running
- Facilities: Washrooms and showers track-side
- Accomodation: Camping available by the track, motels in the local area
- Meals: pre-race supper on the Friday hot and cold food for the duration of the race, post race breakfast
- Refreshments: Water, electrolytes and a large variety of hot and cold drinks, such as coffee, various teas and sodas
- Aid Station: 24 hour medical support
- Distance: Each runner's laps are recorded by a dedicated counter
- Awards: Trophies for the top 3 men and women, rookie of the year (male and female), Sy Mah trophy, Master's program medals, 3 Ontario *Ultra Series age categories, door prizes
