The Gobi March takes place in the largest desert region in Asia and the fifth largest desert in the world. The Gobi Desert in Western China is extremely windy and has a significant temperature range that can be as much as 35 degrees.
Location
The 250-kilometre, 7 day 6-stage course starts in the host town of Kashgar.
Founded
The Gobi March was the first of the 4Deserts races which took place in 2003.
