The Old Dominion One Day 100 Mile Cross Country Run was founded by Pat & Wayne Botts in 1979. With 45 starts that first year and the only measured 100 mile course at the time, 17 men and 1 woman made 100 mile history that first year in under 24 hours.

Massanutten Mountains Shenandoah River Valley Fort Valley, Virginia USA
Course
14 significant climbs, and 14,000 feet of gain, the race starts at the Shenandoah County Fairgrounds, located in Woodstock, VA and circles around the Massanuttens before finishing at the County Fairgrounds.
