From the St. Louis Ultrarunners Group website:
"The SLUGs are by far the friendliest group of ultra folks in the Midwest. Whether you're thinking about running your very first ultra or you're a hardcore veteran, we have training runs for all abilities. We also host two of the finest trail ultras in the Midwest and will also be hosting a third "road" ultra for you flatlanders out there!"

- Flatlanders 6/12 Hour Runs
- 50K Trail Challenge
These races make up the The Eastern Missouri Ultra Series (EMUS).
