Run Rabbit Run 50 mile trail race takes place in the Routt National Forest, northern Colorado. The race starts at the Steamboat Springs ski area (elevation, 6,900 feet) and proceeds to Mount Werner (elevation, 10,568 feet), crosses the Continental Divide to Rabbit Ears Mountain (elevation, 10,500 feet) before heading back down to the start area and has almost 9,000 feet of climbing.
