The Gothenburg 6 Day race took place August 30th to September 5th 2009 in Schlottskogen Park, Gothenburg, Sweden. Part of the Gothenburg Ultra Festival which included 6/12/24 and 48 hour events and organised by Race Director K-G Nystrom.
Course
- 730 m asphalt and gravel paths.
28 runners took part and the mens race was won by Danish ultrarunner Lars Christoffersen who set a new Nordic 6 Day record. Womens race was won by Australian Sarah Barnett.
Blind runner Jeffrey Norris set a new world record with 373 km.
