Sarah Barnett

Australian athlete Sarah Barnett (b.1976) won the 2006 Self-Transcendence 10 Day race with 611 miles in Flushing Meadow Park, Queens New York at the second attempt having completed 475 miles in the Self-Transcendence 10 day race in 2005. Sarah ran in the Cliff Young 6 Day race in November 2005 coming in in 2nd place for the ladies and 13th overall.

In 2008 Sarah began the World Run Project with Jesper Olsen - a project to run from Northern Finland to the tip of South Africa and then from South America to Nova Scotia.
