A new 24 hour race is being planned for Preston next year. Scheduled for May 23/24th, the Foxton Centre 24 Hour Track Race will take place at the UCLAN Sports Arena. The £12 million Arena was opened in 2000 and is an excellent venue for a 24 hour event.
The race is being hosted by Stan Jewell, who organised amongst other events, the 48 hour track races at the Blackpool International Stadium in the late 1980’s.
