Deadwater 2017 – Updates – Stage 4

Today is Stage 4 of the Deadwater 2017 race, the long Day. The course today began in Horton and finished at Hollingworth Lake campsite, a distance of 90 km. As I write its midnight and there are still half the field on the course.
John Parkin was first to reach the finish line today to consolidate his overall lead. Hayley White has taken the lead in the womens race, according to the live results, with Anna Gilmore in second place and Louise Johnstone in third. Heavy rain fell earlier in the day adding to the challenge.
