Blue Canyon Trail Race, Santa Barbara

FEB 27, 2009 – Santa Barbara’s first "cleaner greener" ultra marathon is now taking applicants at Active.com.

The June 6, 2009 Blue Canyon Trail RaceR offers challenging 50K, 50M, and 100K out-and-back course options in the Los Padres National Forest, with gains upwards of 10,000 to nearly 20,000 feet. The event is hosted at the family-friendly Rancho Oso resort, just 30 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara www.bluecanyontrailrace.com.

Software, and Hammer Nutrition.  Event organizer Robert Gilcrest rewarded the series’ first applicants with complimentary race fees, to thank them for their involvement in the event, which benefits the Los Padres Forest Association.
