24/48 Hour News & The Self-Transcendence 24 Hour Berlin 2011

Sadly this years Self-Transcendence 24/12/6 Hour Berlin has been cancelled. The website indicates that there were too few applications from runners and helpers. There are a eight 24 hour races in June and July in Germany and Austria plus Trollhättan takes place this weekend too. There’s still room at Trollhättan – just send K-G an email and you can pay on the day.

The Berlin 24 Hour race was a replacement for the Koln 48 hour also hosted by the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team.  However there is a new 48 Hour taking place in Koln on the 15th of July, the International 48 Hour Track Championships. Details can be found at D.U.V. William Sichel, Wolfgang Schwerk, Hans-Jurgen Schlotter and Trond Sjavic will be competing in what should be a great race. Race updates will be posted on William Sichel’s website.
