World Run II – November 2008

Phase 2 of Jesper Olsen’s plan to circumnavigate the world, North to South, began this summer in Nordkapp, Norway with fellow ultrarunner Sarah Barnett from Australia. Sarah has established her reputation as a determined and capable runner by performing well in New York winning the 2006 Self-Transcendence 10 day race in 2006 with 611 miles, winning the Toyota six day in South Africa this year with 632 km.

They began their mammoth journey on July 1st 2008 and have travelled through Europe and the latest daily post shows them in just outside of Ankara in Turkey.
