Commonwealth 100km Championships Results 2009
Saturday 19th September saw the first 100km Commonwealth championships take place in Keswick, Cumbria in the UK. The course was 6 loops on the road that encircles Thirlmere. Jez Bragg took the Gold medal for England and Australia’s Jackie Fairweather was the ladies Gold medal winner.

The Delaware 100 Mile Endurance Run
The Delaware 100 Mile Endurance Run is a single stage trail event in Newark, Delaware with a 48 hour time limit.
This year the event was held September 19th with a field of 19 starters, 7 of whom finished led by Dave Bursler in 21:16.

Iroquois Trails 100/50 Mile Ultra Races 2009
The 100/50 mile races began and ended at the Gatherings Restaurant and Cabins, East of Virgil, N.Y.,
The course is hilly single track trail, dirt/gravel forest road and a few miles of asphalt.
Elevation gain and loss is roughly 9,000/18,000 feet. The hills are constant and the terrain technical at times.
Respective cut-off times are 13(5)/36(100/28(relay) [...]
