Great piece on TrailRunning Soul about the drama and events that took place this weekend in the mountains around Chamonix and Mont Blanc, Europes most popular ultramarathon.
With pre-race videos and updates throughout the race it sounds like it was an eventful weekend that finally led to a Brit sweep with Jez Bragg coming home first in a re-started race that was halted due to inclement weather.
First woman home was Lizzy Hawker in 22:04 – an hour and two minutes ahead of second placed Néré Martinez Urruzola.
