The Colorado Relay – 10th Annual – 2007

The 10th Annual Colorado Relay, a 24-hour+ 170-mile team relay race, is Colorado’s Premier Team Relay designed for athletes of all abilities. The 2007 Colorado Relay will run on September 21-22, 2007. Registration is still open for the 2007 event. Participants are casual runners, serious runners and sometimes even professionals, but most often are somewhere in between. The majority of teams have 10 runners and 2 volunteers (plus other support staff) who make their way from Idaho Springs Colorado to Glenwood Springs, Colorado with each team member running three “legs” of the relay (each averages ~6 miles). Other teams have between 6-12 members (Non-Conformist category) or 5 members (Ultra category).
