Need to know
Mostly the runners don’t worry about what is going on outside of the race, they just focus on the days running. There are certain things that do interest them however. Each day when I go out to the race lately I have to give Pranjal a report on the days stage of the Tour De France, this started at last years race. When I told Abichal that I was going to the 24 hour World Championships, word spread quickly amongst the boys and all of them mentioned it to me.Now when I go by the race at the end of one of my training runs a few of them will make some kind of comment.Usually asking how the training is going, or how much longer to the race start. I am glad to occupy some of their time with something interesting.
I must point out that I am running in the open race not the World Championships.
