Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race 2010 – Day 46

Asprihanal Aalto has entered the final 100 miles in the Self-Transcendence 3100 mile race with a 31 mile lead over second placed Galya Balatsky. 21 miles behind Galya, in third place is Pranjal Milovnik and this will provide the closest finish for the race since it began.
Asprihanal should finish tomorrow and maybe Galya will conclude his journey tomorrow night as well.

The 10 remaining runners have been fairly roasted over the last few weeks and yet they have still maintained their focus and resolve. The first five runners will finish the race within the time limit and maybe Dharbhasana Lynn, in his first 3100, will be able to squeeze past the post too.

Utpal Marshall writes a blog about the race called Perfection-Journey and he details, as much as can be conveyed, the life of the race including the staff and supporters who help make this event possible.
