Self-Transcendence 10 Day Race 2015 – Updates

The Self-Transcendence 10 Day Race 2015 got underway in Flushing meadow Park in Queens, New York on Sunday at noon. First days results have been posted on the website.

This is the 20th edition of the 10 day race which first took place in 1996 on Wards Island before moving to Flushing Meadow.

55 runners began their journey under sunny skies and at the close of the first day Atmavir Spacil (91 miles) led 72 year old Georgs Jermolajevs (87 miles) with Aidas Ardzijauskas (867 miles) in third place.

For the women Pati Ibinova was on 90 mles with Vasuprada Funk in second place with 82 miles and third was Harita Davies also on 82 miles.
