ruby mountain relayThe Ruby Mountain Relay is a new event for Nevada, USA. Starting August 3, 2012, the Ruby Mountain Relay is a 184 mile team or solo relay race which starts at Roads End in famous Lamoille Canyon, Elko County, Nevada, 2.5 hours from Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Course

After starting at Roads End the route descends to Spring Creek, where it turns south to follow the western flank of the Ruby Mountains to the town of Jiggs.  After climbing Harrison Pass, runners enter the Ruby Valley were the course briefly turns south to Ruby Lake and the Ruby Marshes before doubling back to follow the East Ruby Range, the Humboldt Mountains and Starr Valley en route to the finish line in Wells, NV.

Teams can be 6 or 12 runners
