Rock and Ice Ultras – Diamond 300 2007 – Updates

This inaugural series of races finishes today, apparently shorter at 250km than the planned 300km event. The 300km event is a self supported 6 day race through the Northern Canadian wilderness in the Great Slave Lake area.
This is a test of endurance in extreme conditions and the fall-out rate is reported as being fairly high and Kevin Lin, the Taiwanese ultrarunner who recently ran across the Sahara dropped after 40km after sustaining injury.
