2006 Hellenic International Ultramarathon Festival (UF)
Two extra races are being added to the Loutraki Running Festival
in April, which now features a 6, 12, 24 hour and a 7 day race.
The application deadline has been extended to February 15 to accomodate
those interested in these new races. Full details are available
on the Loutraki

Gérard Cain writes that the 5700 Paris-Dakar run will be
a personal adventure, a Journey Run to celebrate his 50th birthday
later on this year.
Also at this time the long awaited blog is functional,
albeit a very basic functionality, and without a skin at this time.
From January 23 - Feb 10 all news will be available at Multiday
Running.com

Stephan
Isringhausen noticed a new 6 day race on the Ultrafondus site
calender and the RD has sent an entry form and details in a pdf.
It is in French at the moment and it will be available shortly in
English. Called 6
Jours d'Antibes, it takes place in the South of France May 1st-
May 7th 2006. The deadline for race applications is March 31st and
the entry fee is €130.

Cain also sent notice of a proposed 5700 km run from Paris to
Dakar, October/November 2006. Details to come.
And
whilst we're in France, La Transe Gaule, 1166 km across France,
will take place August 16th to September 2nd.

The Toyota
Dealers 6 Day Circuit Race 2006 dates and entry form are available
as a Word download. This Years event in Randburg starts April 2nd
and includes a 24 hour and a 12 hour event. For other news on the
