Andrew Mclean won the 2006 Self-Transcendence Ottawa 24 hour race with 211 km, ahead of Rimas Jakelaitis who finished with 197 km.
Third place went to Bruno Ouellet with 192 km. The first lady, Sandi Stiel edged out Sue Armstrong – 178 km to 173 km and third lady was Emmanuelle Dudon with 153 km.
Oldest runner, Albert Miclette, 70 finished in tenth place with a very respectable 170 km.
