For many years there have relay races around the world butin recent times the number has grown considerably as the number of people able and/or willing to run longer distances appears to be increasing. One of the biggest relays in the US is In the US Ragnar Relays organise a dozen or so events throughout the year and spread out to cover all corners of the country.
