The Ocean Floor Race is a 160 mile single stage UltraMarathon that takes place in the Egyptian Western Desert.
2013 Event
A small field of 12 runners began the race organised by UK company Fat Feet. 8 men and 4 women began the race there were 10 finishers in this inaugural event. The UK’s Sharon Gayter was the first lady, finishing second overall in 50:15 behind desert runner Italian Pasqual Brandi.
