The Jemez Mountain Trail Runs event is held each year in May. 2009 will be the fourth running of the event which consists of three trail running races – a half marathon, a 50 km and a 50 mile ultramarathon. The races take place on single track trails and dirt roads in and around Los Alamos, NM in the Jemez Mountains.
This years events are sold out with over 150 runners in the 50 miler alone which starts today, Saturday May 16th at 5:00 am.
