IAU 100 km World Cup and European Championship 2009

no-imggif2LIVE UPDATES

Many of you must have seen our Live Updates from the 7th IAU 24 Hour World Challenge. We will be doing something similar from the 23rd IAU 100 km World Cup and European Championship taking place in Torhout, Belgium.

It is our pleasure to announce to you that we will be providing you with regular updates (barring any unforeseen technical difficulties) from June 18th to June 20th 2009. The race starts at 2000 hrs (Belgium time) on June 19th. Pre-race coverage will begin on June 18th.

We will be providing you with Live Updates from the IAU website. Please go to our website (www.iau-ultramarathon.org) and click on Live Updates (in the upper taskbar) for live coverage or go directly to http://www.iau-ultramarathon.org/mediacenter.php

Also, because this is a shorter event and we will be getting updates through volunteers at different locations around the course, the updates will not be as regular or as in-depth, as from the recently concluded 24 hr World Challenge. However, we will update you with the top performers as often as we can.

I will make every attempt to interview each participating federation at least once during the course of the race-weekend. Also, please look out for post-race interviews with the winners and the winning teams. The above link will serve as our site for any race related articles.

So you will be reading what we will be seeing. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
