Dear athletes:
I am writing from Argentina to invite you to participate in the
100 km race 1st Edition that will take place in San Miguel del Monte,
situated 100 km from Capital Federal on 3rd September 2005.
This competence will be held on the same day the ultramaratonist
might have been celebrating his 20th birthday and will be called
"Brígido Fernández",who was a pioneer in
this discipline and who died this year.
The event is being organized by AAU (Asociación Argentina
de Ultramaratón) which has just been formed, and the guarantee
of CADA ( Confederación Argentina de Atletismo ) and under
the rules of IAAF.
As we would be grateful to make this competence international we
invite you and the rest of the athlets of your gropus to the dinner
on 2nd September in a Pasta Party to welcome the competitors and
to compete in the 100 km distance that will show the start of the
distance in South America.
