Last years Run Across America winner Bob Brown will run
from Lisbon to the Europe/Asia border in the Ural Mountains, Russia.
An attempt to run over 4300 miles in under 80 days. Checkout

Bruce Johnson has made it across the United States. He
started running February 1st, 2005 in Oceanside, California and
yesterday reached Virginia Beach on the East coast - a journey of
105 days and 2901 miles. More
Congratulations also to Achim Heukemes in crossing Australia. The
53-year-old ultra-marathon runner from Germany ended his epic run
in Sydney today, completing a record 43-day, 13-hour and eight-minute
charity run across the continent from Fremantle in Western Australia.
He broke the previous 47-day record, set by Frenchman Serge Girard
in 1999, running for the Oxfam tsunami appeal. Read

which were won by the ladies - Kalinina Lyudmila with 241,521km
which is a little over 150 miles.

The Self-Transcendence 6-day race has been won by Danny Ripka from
Florida, Dipali Cunningham won the ladies race. Miroslav Pospisek
took the 10 day for the men and Nataliya Hlushchuk won the womens

24 hour race results are available. A good turnout was headed
by Glen Turner with 116 miles and first lady was Nikki Seger with

The 6 & 10 Day Races are approaching Days 3 and 7 respectively
and there is a great atmosphere at the race. Rimas Jakelaitis and
Dipali Cunningham lead in the 6
day while Miroslav Pospisek and Nataliya Hlushchuk head the
10 day.
