It was with great pleasure that the Race President for the Cliff
Young Australian 6-Day Race, Bill Sutcliffe announced that the first
prize for this year's race will be $10,000 AUD. He said that the
Committee is confident of attracting several of the World's top
multi-day runners to this year's event.

in Taiwan on March 4-5. Results

MaratonTürk's ultramarathoner member Edit Berces
of Hungary, defeated also men ultramarathoners in the 1st Loutraki
24-hour International Track Race organized by Dr. Konstantinos Baxevanis,
race director, in Greece on March 11-12, 2005.
29 ultramarathoners from 6 countries participated in the 24-hour
race was held on the tartan track. Women's winner Edit Berces ran
212km850m and defeated all runners including men. Edit Berces put
a gap of 10km even to Janne Kankaansyrja of Finland, men's winner

hard to get the event ready.Race Management will attempt to provide
lap counters, but runners are encouraged to provide their own. A

World Runner Jesper Olsen is getting close to San franciso in the
next couple of days. I'm sure Jesper would love to run with any
Ultra runners as he is making his way through your city. His mobile

The Arrowhead Ultra is taking place at the moment and last weekend
saw two events, The Paul Selby 12/24 in South Africa and the Houston
Ultra Weekend in Texas. I hope to have some news up soon...
