MOB Newsletter March 2005
Summer MOBlite05 2 x 26.2 Miles in Two days
Saturday 11th June and Sunday 12th June 2005
For anyone competing in multi-day running events such as Marathon
of Britain or Marathon des Sables, or even just for the sheer challenge;
the MOBlite series of events is the ideal way of finding out if
you can run back-to-back Marathons on consecutive days.
On each of the two days you will run 26.2 miles on trails and tracks
over some of the most picturesque areas of the England. Over the
weekend we will help you with the training, kit and map reading
you will require on longer adventure running events.
We’ll also provide accommodation, a BBQ dinner on Saturday
Night and a friendly atmosphere like no other race in the UK. There
is a chance to review MOB03 and 04, plus you’ll be able to
ask our panels of experts’ questions about MOB, MdeS and other
Ultra events worldwide.
You’ll also find out if you can meet the challenge of MOB!

3rd Flame Health Marathon of Britain 2005
September 4th- September 9th 2005
Entries are already filling up for this year's event and there
is significant interest for 2006 already. If you are looking for
a challenge that you can experience later this year, then this could
be for you.
If you are competing at this year's Marathon des Sables (MdeS),
you have the opportunity of using the Multi-day running experience
to survive the MOB 175-mile course. If you are on the wait list
for 2006 or 2007 MdeS then this is the ideal way of warming up for
the Sahara.
We look forward to seeing you there…

Pearl Elizabeth Coleman
Many thanks to all of you who have sent your best wishes and emails
to Sarah and Myself on the birth of our little daughter Pearl (6lbs
7ozs). We can't believe how lucky we are to have her. The sleepless
nights and endless nappies are all going to be worth it...The MOB
2023 awaits her and her little chicken legs...not mine as they are
fattening up with the lack of training.
T2T next year is 28th January 2006 and there is more news to follow
soon, about another major MOB event next year, so look out for details...
Kind regards,
Rory Coleman
