Commonwealth 24 Hour Championships Results

commonwealth_games_logoI am not usually critical of race organizers in putting results up on the internet. Most ultra races are small affairs with a tiny crew of dedicated volunteers and tiny budgets and the results get posted online when the chance comes, that’s just how it is.
But I am a little disappointed with the Commonwealth 24 hour Championships coverage. There does not appear to have been anything posted on the website for some time and nothing about the race which finished mid-day today and nothing on the IAU website yet.

According to the posts below Australian Martin Fryer was first man and England’s Sharon Gayter set a new lifetime best to win the womens race.

24 hour men
Martin Fryer 157+ miles
Jo Blake
John Pares 151.85 miles

24 hour women
Sharon Gayter 136+ miles
