Hello,

there is a 6 day race in Hamm (Germany). The competition will start at 29th June and finish at 5th July.

Here are some information about the race:
The competition takes place on a 400 m red dirt track in Adolf-Brühl-Stadium in Hamm near Dortmund
Rounds are counted electronically by the “Bib Chip- System”.
During the competition there are resting areas as well as toilets inside the stadium. (more…)

There is a new 6 Day Race in the ultramarathon calendar of Germany.
The Race will start at 29th June and finish at 5th July in 59075 Hamm.

On an earlier post, some days ago, I said that Hiroko was very close to Jorg. I must have been mistaken by an hour because she is sttill edging closer and closer to Jorg everyday. Yesterday she tied the stage with third placed Uwe Schietzoldt.

Lots of good races in Germany over the last month or two including the Erkrath 6 Day and the ongoing Deutschlandlauf 2007 show a healthy interest in multiday and ultrarunning. Avec l’inscription récente de notre Australopithèque préféré Kelvin Marshall* ce sont pas moins de 10 Vétérans transegaulois qui se retrouveront lundi prochain 10 septembre à l’extrémité nord de l’Ile de Rügen sur la ligne de départ de la Deutschlandlauf 2007. Au programme 17 étapes comprises entre 55 et 93 km pour un total de 1205 km à se coltiner si possible sans grimacer. Arrivée des survivants le 26 septembre à Lörrach, à la frontière Allemagne-Suisse-France tout près de Bâle. (more…)

This year on the first weekend of October, the first Self-Transcendence 24 Hour Race in Berlin will take place. Next year this race will take place earlier in the summer, at the same time that the Koln races used to take place as this event will not take place again. (more…)

The Köln/Cologne 24/48 hour annual event wont’t be taking place this year again due to problems securing a course.However the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team in Germany is hosting a new event, the Self-Transcendence 24 hour race in Berlin taking place on the 6/7 of October.
