On an earlier post, some days ago, I said that Hiroko was very close to Jorg. I must have been mistaken by an hour because she is sttill edging closer and closer to Jorg everyday. Yesterday she tied the stage with third placed Uwe Schietzoldt.

Finlands Janne Kankaansyrja extended his lead with a steady and consistent performance to win this years Deutschlandlauf ahead of Japanese lady Hiroko Okiyama who held off a strong late challenge by third placed Michael Krüger from Germany.

With three days to Janne Kankaansyrja has an almost 8 hour lead now over second placed Hiroko Okiyama who in turn has over a 2 hour lead on third placed Michael Krüger.
