    RUNNER TO RACE KIDS ACROSS MONTANA IN 2008

    One man pushing a jogging stroller of gear will attempt a 610-mile solo run across the state of Montana during the Spring of 2008. Paul Staso accomplished a 3,260-mile solo run across the United States in 2006 to keep a promise to elementary children in Missoula, Montana. Now he’s returning to the road in order to encourage more kids to be active and fit. (more…)

    Catra Corbett on the PCT

    Catra is making an attempt on the PCT record which is 78 days for men and 91 for women. In with a shot at both, Catra started the journey with a Frenchman Julien, on May 24th, who Catra affectionately calls “SB” and who unfortunately sustained an injury after only a few days and who was forced to abandon the adventure.     Martin Illot - TransAm Solo Project 2007

    Martin Illot has announced plans to run solo across the USA from Huntinton Beach to New York at the end of March, 2007.

    The run will begin on the west coast, at Huntington Beach, Los Angeles on the 31st March, heading northeast towards Las Vegas.    Following a familiar route for trans-USA runners from LA to New York covering a distance of approximately 3100 miles. (more…)

    Christian McEvoy recently completed his run across America on December 16. He raised well over $200,000 on his way to $1,000,000 to benefit cancer survivors and patients. Christian is the 173rd person to cross America and around the 25th supported journey runner. His is the 199th overall crossing which includes walkers, hikers, stilters, crutchers, and handers as well. He covered 3400.6 miles for an average of just over 20 miles a day.
