    Just noticed an old post on Yanoo.net about a proposd 100km race in France. Dont know if it is still being planned. Here is the translated info and the link to the source.

    “Be realistic, try the impossible one!… ” “the 1000 Kilometers of France” is a new pedestrian test of course/marche suggested by Association Headlight-West Organization (1) on a route of a distance close to thousand kilometers, crossing France of the English Channel in the Mediterranean. It acts of the individual race, longest ever suggested in France, whose starting point is located at the foot of the Mount-St-Michel (Handle) and the finishing line at the balance of the headlight of the port of Sète (Herault).     Vienna-Bratislava-Budapest Supermarathon 2007

    This years Vienna-Bratislava-Budapest Supermarathon runs from October the 19th-23rd.

    Route and Sections:

    1st day: Vienna-Bratislava approx. 94 km
    2nd day: Bratislava-Győr approx. 84 km
    3rd day: Győr-Tata approx. 61 km
    4th day: Tata-Budakeszi approx. 60 km
    5th day: Budakeszi-Budapest Halfmarathon

    Altogether: approx. 320 km

    TRANSE GAULE VII : August 13-30, 2008

    “NEXT YEAR, TRANSE GAULE !…”, during this month of September I heard it many times, from Gruissan to Lörrach. I heard it from stars’ hunters wanting to add one more to their collection (), from Deutschlandlauf strong survivors planning to visit La Douce France and also from TransEurope 2009 entrants who need to run kilometers and kilometers in the 18 months to come… Altogether around 30 runners already told they plan to run Transe Gaule 2008. So it feels important and urgent to inform you that the number of runners will be limited to 45 on the start line. (more…)

    On an earlier post, some days ago, I said that Hiroko was very close to Jorg. I must have been mistaken by an hour because she is sttill edging closer and closer to Jorg everyday. Yesterday she tied the stage with third placed Uwe Schietzoldt.

    Trans-Rockies Run 2007

    The inaugural Trans-Rockies Run began yesterday. A 5 day 110 mile point-to-point stage event running through the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

    Michelle Barton and Adam Chase were first home in the mixed team category, while Erik Skaggs and Kyle Skaggs were first Open Men’s team.
