15 hours into the world 24 hour Championships in Brive and the race is led by Shingo Inoue, some 7 km ahead of US ultrarunner Scott Jurek. Third place is Yuji Sakai 2 laps behind. Serge Arbona is in 5th and Phil McCarthy is in 7th. The ladies race is led by Anne Cecille Fontaine (FRA) with 160 km and second place is Italian Monica Casiraghi on 154 km with Brigitte Bec also from France 2 minutes behind.
