Celtic 100km – New Race In Ireland

Ultrarunning activity is picking up pace in Ireland with the creation of a new 100km road race planned for March this year, just 10 weeks away, the Celtic 100km will take place in Galway, Ireland on 28 March, 2009.
The first edition of the event will host the annual Anglo Celtic Plate competition between England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. However, race organisers will also welcome guest international teams from other nations. Individuals are also invited to take part on a flat, fast course overlooking the famous Galway Bay on the west coast of Ireland.
