    MANITOWOC Holy Family Memorial’s Rehab Plus Therapy and Sports Medicine is holding “Building the Complete Runner,” a running clinic for athletes of all ages and abilities, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, at Holy Family Memorial’s Harbor Town Campus, 1650 S. 41st St.

    This presentation is free and open to the public.

    Guest speaker for the clinic is Ultramarathon runner Roy Pirrung, who will share his motivational story about how he ran through obstacles to achieve his success.

    Pirrung has competed in 80 marathons, and more than 120 ultra marathons, and recently won his 50th national title. He is the American Open Track record holder at 48 hours (243.43 miles).

    Other speakers for the event and their topics include Bruce Neumann on sports medicine and the feet, April Neukam on gait analysis, Paula Cayemberg on shoe wear, Jason Helgeson on building a complete runner and Schroeder’s Department Store on shoe technology.
