    24 Hours of Moab/Laramie/Boulder - the Run 2007

Subject: 24 hour races and 100 milers

Here is some information on the rest of our races. Registration is now open for our two other race series. The first is 24 Hours the Run. This is our fourth year for the 24 Hours of Boulder the Run and we’ve added in two new locations to make it a series.

24 Hours of Moab - the Run May 12-13,
24 Hours of Laramie - the Run June 30-July 1,
24 Hours of Boulder the Run (championships) will be October 13-14.

These are all team relays with a solo challenge option. The series is set on a point system with overall awards being given. The courses vary with Laramie being the most technical and Boulder being the least. They’re all about 5-7 miles for each lap on trails.

We will also hold the Rocky Mountain Triple Crown 100 mile running series in conjunction with the 24 hour races. These will be 100 mile races in the same lap format as the 24 hour races and all have a 30 hour cut-off. These are great first 100 milers since there are no preliminary cut-offs and you come back to your crew every 5-7 miles also, if you drop before 24 hours will receive an official 24 hour distance. There will also be medals to anyone who completes the Triple Crown.

They’re going to be fun races with a huge challenge so I hope to see a bunch of you out there.
    Reid
